Many thanks to the Quasquicentennial Committee for all their efforts in recognition of the Chamber’s 125th year anniversary: 1893 – 2018. The Committee worked throughout the year to highlight the importance of the anniversary to Chamber members and the community.
This organizational milestone was recognized in a multitude of ways: printed media, events and commemorative items. The committee was very thoughtful and intentional in its pursuit to honor the past, celebrate the present and envision the future. The tagline “Building Bridges to the Future” is an example of this goal—it recognizes that the Chamber began in 1893 as business owners worked to build the first bridge across the Missouri River and continue to build success stories for Jefferson City and Cole County. It is befitting, and even poetic, that in 2018, the Chamber once again is instrumental in building a bridge to the Missouri River – the Bicentennial Bridge (slated for completion in 2020).
The Q125 Committee members are: Co-chairs Cyndy Schnieders, Central Bank and Amber Hall, Delong’s Inc.; Jeff DeLong, Custom Screen Printing & Embroidery; Roger Dudenhoeffer, Jefferson Bank; Nancy Gratz, Gratz Real Estate and Auctioneering; Linda McAnany, retired; Bill Plank, Naught-Naught Insurance Agency; Travis Stephens, Brown Printing, Inc.; Janet Wear-Enloe, SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
Thank You Q125 Committee!
