The Partners in Education Committee hosted a Kick-Off Luncheon in October for the Business Partners participating in the 2019-2020 school year. Superintendent, Dr. Larry Linthacum gave an update on the District’s priorities. He highlighted the excitement and positive energy of beginning the school year with two new high schools. He noted students at both high schools are enjoying their new experiences and the level of involvement in school activities has increased. Dr. Linthacum also noted the positive results from the JCReads initiative and spoke on future building plans to meet the needs of student count growth.
The PIE program is certainly an example of Dr. Linthacum’s refrain of “Stronger Together”.
