CORRECTION:
In our interview with 1966 Chamber Chair Ralph Kalberloh we printed that he had been in Jefferson City 31 years.  He has been here 58 years!  He spent 31 years as Executive Vice President of the Missouri Automobile Association. To read his interview, click here.

Articulation agreement improves access

signed the articulation agreement May 15 at the Chamber.  Governor Jay Nixon participated in the press conference.

This articulation agreement, an important milestone for the Central Missouri Innovation Campus (CMIC) program, allows students to seamlessly transfer credits between Linn State Technical College and Lincoln University. This ensures that graduates enter the workforce with the skill sets and technical degrees local business partners and the economy need.  Read more ....

There will be music, free food, historic & rare prints of Jefferson City to view/purchase in the silent auction, and of course, plenty of wine to try.  Each guest will receive a free souvenir wine glass.
TICKETS are on sale for $20 at the Chamber. ALL PROCEEDS will benefit the Samaritan Center and the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital City.  (Tickets will be available at the door for $25.)
 
Hidden Spaces Secret Places May 19
If you've ever been curious about some of the historic buildings in Jefferson City's core, you won't want to miss this event featuring both finished and unfinished spaces.  Trolleys will be running special routes between the featured properties.  Tickets are $5 each and are available at Hawthorn Bank (132 E. High), Samuel's Tuxedos & Gifts, Brew House Coffee, & Carrie's Hallmark.  Video Clip

A May 14 ribbon cutting celebrated the grand opening of Fletcher KIA in its new location, 3205 Missouri Blvd.  Pictured cutting the ribbon is Brent Lobenoff, Executive Vice President.  Also pictured are Frank Fletcher, owner,  John Wayne Coleman, General Manager, and Branden Baker, Sales Manager.

A May 15 ribbon cutting celebrated the completion of Data Comm's remodeling project.  Locally owned, Data Comm offers a single source solution for all office needs including imaging equipment, office supplies & furniture, and personalized service.  Pictured cutting the ribbon is Joe Birk, President.  Ryan Birk is Vice President of Sales.
