Mid America Bank opened their doors in the early 1900’s as the Peoples Bank of St. Thomas, and then subsequently changed their name to Mid America Bank in 1978 when opening their first branch facility in Linn. Today, Mid America Bank has locations in Wardsville, Holt Summit, Linn, Meta and Belle and continues to identify potential new markets for future growth. In August of this year, Mid America Bank will begin construction on a 6,400 square foot expansion to their main bank in Wardsville to accommodate recent and continued growth.
“Communication with one’s personal banker is key in times like these and because Mid America Bank is a true community bank it allows us to have a special relationship with our customers,” said Brian Berhorst, President/CEO. “Our goals are simple; serve the customer’s needs, establish relationships, offer sound advice and continue to explore new opportunities. As always, we’re a bank that’s good for you and your community too.”
“Mid America Bank is a tremendous asset to not only Jefferson City, but also to surrounding rural markets in Mid Missouri.” said Shaun Sappenfield, Existing Business Manager for the Chamber. “This vision and commitment is the cornerstone of their continued success.”
