High School Students

Junior and Senior high school students participating in the CMIC program can complete their Bachelor Degree at LU within three years from high school graduation.  This is based on the completion of at least 30 hours through dual credit and six hours in accelerated pre-requisite courses during the summer after their junior and senior years.  These students must comply witht eh dual credit student eligibility requirements.  Click Here to view the accelerated degree plan.  Students selecting STC will complete their degree based on their currently published course schedule.

High school students interested in participating in the CMIC program should submit their application during their sophomore year of high school before the application deadline:

  • Fall Semester - July 15
  • Spring Semester - December 15
  • Summer Semester - No applications will be accepted.

If a student requests to participate in the CMIC program beginning in their senior year of high school, they must submit their application before the deadline (shown above) in their  junior year.  It is unlikely they will complete their Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems in three years.  However, the benefits of completing dual credit classes in high school will reduce their overall higher education tuition and shorten their time in college.  Recommended course schedules to complete the expected dual credit hours in the accelerated degree plan will depend on the high school attending.  Please contact Lincoln University's Division of Continuing Education at (573) 681-5206 for assistance in planning your high school dual credit course schedule.
