Keys to Success Workshops
In an effort to provide our members with a variety of professional development opportunities, the Chamber's Small Business Committee is partnering with the Missouri Women's Business Center to offer a series of workshops entitled "Keys to Success". The Keys to Success workshops will focus on topics geared at supporting both women and men, as they seek to start and/or grow their own businesses. The monthly series will educate attendees on available business resources, professional development tools, and insight into the best practices of fellow business professionals. In addition to our newly founded partnership with the Missouri Women's Business Center, we would like to thank our friends at the Lincoln University - Small Business & Technology Development Center for their partnership and continued support.

Let's face it. Most of us are in business because we have a dream. At some point for the business owner, that dream will include employees. When a business owner adds the first employee, her job changes significantly to include management. Add to that the owner's obligation to follow numerous HR laws on federal, state and local level and it makes sense that the smart business owner might want to have a conversation with an HR professional to get some bite-sized tips for adding employees to her dream team.
