Internship Initiative

More than 100 interns have participated or plan to participate in the Chamber's new Internship Initiative Program.  Most of the interns are ages 20-21 or over 24 (juniors or seniors in college or in professional school).

JC101 Intern Orientation  - designed to help interns in Jefferson City get to know the community.  This orientation is held each spring and summer.

In addition to networking events, the interns also have opportunites to learn from mentors, human resources professionals, tour the Capitol and MSP.  Some events are also held in conjunction with hYPe, Jefferson City's young professionals group. 

*Students seeking internships in Jefferson City and Jefferson City employers seeking interns are able to post resumes and internship opportunities on the Jeff City START website.

 Chairperson of the Internship Initiative Program Committee is Stephanie Bell, Blitz, Bardgett & Deutsch. The committee is staffed by Susan Albert, Chamber Membership & Special Events Director.
